Inner Layers provides several services on line or through its office in the Los Angeles area.

Collection of Documents about the Iranian-American Community in the United States

In relation to its Tehrangeles project, Inner Layers accepts copies of documents, audiovisual materials, posters and manuscripts published by Iranian Americans, for submission and cataloging by the Library of Congress. Please submit four copies of any document you wish to have catalogued to Inner Layers. Two copies will be kept as a part of the Inner Layers' archive and the additional copies will be forwarded to the Library of Congress. This service is provided free of charge. Publish your manuscript about Iranian Culture

Inner Layers is interested in publishing books about different aspects of Iranian culture. Please contact us for information about publishing your book or audio-visual material.

Your book at the Library of Congress

“A Cataloging in Publication record (aka CIP data) is a bibliographic record prepared by the Library of Congress for a book that has not yet been published. When the book is published, the publisher includes the CIP data on the copyright page thereby facilitating book processing for libraries and book dealers.”

“Libraries throughout the world rely on Library of Congress cataloging, either directly through products from the LC Cataloging Distribution Service or by participating in bibliographic utilities or cataloging services.”

The Library of Congress does not catalog publications at the request of authors. Publications are selected for bibliographic cataloging according to guidelines developed by cataloging managers and collection development officials. But as a part of the Tehrangeles project of Inner Layers the Library of Congress has agreed to document and catalog books and periodicals published by Iranian communities in the United States.

If you have published a book or periodical in the United States, or you are currently involved in publishing Persian-language materials, you can submit your publications (in Persian, Kurdish, Azeri, and other Iranian languages) to the Library of Congress for cataloging. The submission of the printed material can be done through Inner Layers FREE OF CHARGE. Please submit four copies* of the publication to the following address:
